Basic block.
Basic Zipblock are the simplest type of block. Their simplicity offers a few advantages over slightly more complex types of block. The biggest advantage that basic offers is that they are the easiest type to manufacture. They are so easy to produce that their total manufacturing costs are only a fraction higher than the cost of the raw materials used to produce them. They can be easily manufactured using existing materials like plywood and staples. Not only are basic block easy to manufacture, they are easy to use as well. Click on the above picture and see for yourself how simple they are to use.
Advanced block.
Advanced Zipblock costs slightly more to produce than basic. The wide range of features that this type extends easily offsets additional costs. Advanced easily connects to wave, curve, half-curve, and snake block. The ability to seamlessly use different types together provides a class of blocks that allow for highly customized designs. Another remarkable feature is that any given sized advanced block readily connects to other blocks that are two to four times larger or smaller. The ability to scale different sizes provides an even further range of customized designs. Click on the above picture and see for yourself just how versatile advanced Zipblocks are.
Block facing.
This illustration shows three different kinds of facing. Infinite types are possible. I.e. one could cast multiple facings that would fit together to form 3-d art representative of Greek, Roman, or Gothic periods. These custom facings would add impressive style to walls and columns. The possibilities are limited only by imagination. The beauty of our facing is the simplicity with which it is applied and the strength with which it connects to walls. Installation requires that you rip a several cuts across the outer surfaces of block or use block with precut grooves. Facing is applied against block such that the retaining plates are embedded within the block and secured by retaining pins that pass thru the retaining plate.
Curve block.
Curve block are unique in that they can be custom manufactured such that any given number of blocks linked together will form a perfect circle. The minimum number of blocks required to form a complete circle is three. I.e. you could easily manufacture curve block of type-3, 4, 5, 1000, etc. Type-3 curve block would take three blocks to form a complete circle; type-4 blocks would require four blocks to form a complete circle, and so on and so on. Regardless of how many blocks are used to form a circle...the blocks will always stack perfectly as their widths and heights will remain constant. Core Assembly.
Basic Zipblocks interlock via lugs. All other Zipblocks interlock via core assemblies.
There are several different kinds of core assemblies but standard core assemblies are the most popular. Their most recognizable feature is the hollow standard rod.
As you watch the above movie you will be amazed at how practical, simple, and effectively core assemblies are used to interlock Zipblocks together.
Snake block.
The best word to describe snake blocks is fun! We named this block type snake blocks because when you assemble them together the interlocked blocks will bend in any direction just like a snake. These amazing blocks act just like links in a watchband. When you connect snake blocks together, they form a flexible chain that can easily move around just like a watchband. These blocks are great for landscaping as you can stack them as high as you want, they always interlock, and they will follow any curve.
