We are a startup company.

While our site is very new (only 25 to 35 visitors a day) we have received numerous requests from schools, suppliers, builders, and consumers for our products. Unfortunately our products are not being manufactured yet as we are presently only a startup company. It is our hope that this website will seed partnerships with people, investors, and companies interested in further developing our technologies and bringing them to market.

As you browse our website please keep an open mind. Outside of building prototypes from wood and creating computer models we have not done extensive research into the actual physical requirements for the commercial application of our products or technologies. We would simply like to suggest that Zipblocks can easily be made from virtually any solid material or combination of materials that would best suite their needs. It goes without saying that manufacturing costs, transportation costs, material costs, and product benefits are big considerations for commercial development.

One last thing we'd like to mention. Virtually every drawing, picture, and movie on this site illustrates our technologies in its most basic form. A lot of very subtle features like additional perforations in blocks to reduce weight were deliberately left out so that we could demonstrate core technologies in there simplest forms with minimal distractions. We also have a lot of products and concepts available that are not illustrated on this website.

Company size:Extremely small. Only two people at the time of this writing.
Intellectual property:PCT's and patents regarding our technologies have all been applied for and/or issued.
Company budget:Virtually nothing. At the time of this writing only around $10 a day.
Marketing strategy:Our web site. Traffic directed to our web site via search engine results. Occasionally we send emails to companies that can benefit via our products. Paid advertising thru Google.approximately $6 a day. We offer a 10% royalties commission for landing our products with a manufacturer.
Our goal:To make money via licensing our technologies.
Third world aid and charitable causes:When it comes to charitable causes or third world aid we do not wish to earn profits thru the use of our technologies. If your organization provides charitable assistance and you are interested in using our technologies we will gladly license our products to you free of charge.

Well it's been quite awhile since we've updated informatation about ourselves. We intend to update the information on this page in the near future. We are now getting just over 100 visits a day. Around 2.5 percent of our visitors spend at least 30 minutes visiting the site. This is a very long time.

Our goals.

We feel that there is great amount of benefit to be derived from patterning construction systems after naturally occurring patterns found in nature. We want to introduce the world to a construction system that mimics the way nature builds.

Think about this. Everything in the entire universe is built from atoms. So atoms are nature's most basic building blocks.

Now consider this. One of the most basic structures that can be formed by atoms is the simple cubic lattice.

Zipblocks in themselves exhibit the characteristics of cubic lattices. What's more is when you build with Zipblocks the entire structure that is built exhibits the characteristics of a cubic lattice.

Consider this outrageous thought. If you were to build a house out of Zipblocks that was five miles long and fifty feet high, regardless of where you were within this house you would quickly realize that every last Zipblock in the entire house would fit exactly into place at some point on the x-y-z plane. The point to this outlandish thought is this. If nature builds every last crystal on this planet in a uniform manner and everything it builds always fits perfectly into place, well then, why not follow suit?

By following nature's building system we are guaranteed that.

We will have the most highly standardized building system available.
Regardless of what you build or how big you build it, every last piece is guaranteed to fit.
Everything that you build will have highly predictable properties.
It will be easy to determine or predict the exact height, weight, and strengths of whatever you wish to build before you even build it.
Time, money, and resources will be saved as a result of simplifications.

In order for us to achieve our goals funding and marketing need to occur.

It's simple. Virtually nothing gets done in this world for free. For us to sell our product we need you to market our product. Our number one advertising and marketing force for is you. Our number one motivation for you is money.

If you introduce or technology to a company and this introduction leads to the licensing of our technologies we'll be glad to provide you with 10% of any royalties we earn from this company. Depending on what company decides to run with our products or technologies this could be quite a windfall.

The simplest way to ensure that you are listed as the person whom introduced our technology to a company is to just send us an email letting us know what company you corresponded with and whom within the company you were in contact with.

If you work for a big company and you introduce it and they buy into it, we'll it's time to think about a nice long vacation. It's easy enough to figure out how this works.
